In the interests of journalistic integrity, I should admit that I still haven’t listened to Hamilton (I know, I know; it’s not for lack of peer pressure, believe me). But after watching this number at yesterday’s Grammys, I’m going to have to.

Last night the Hamilton cast performed “Alexander Hamilton,” the musical’s opening number, before going on to win the Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album, which creator Lin-Manuel Miranda accepted in verse while Anthony Ramos waved the Puerto Rican flag:

Last night’s Grammys had a lot of misses, but Hamilton‘s achievement is definitely worth celebrating.
