Hamilton gets some fantastic guests and puts on amazing performances for their weekly #Ham4Ham, a pre-show before the actual musical that they just recently brought back. These have included the cast of Fun Home, Spring Awakening and In the Heights reunions, Lea Salonga, the NYC ballet, and so much more. (Warning: if you watch one, you will end up watching all of them. Multiple times.) For May 4th, he brought out director J.J. Abrams, and the two performed the Star Wars Cantina Song Miranda wrote—you may recall the #Force4Ham movement that led to fantastic crossovers.

In the video, Abrams explained he had seen Hamilton about a year ago, where Miranda jokingly told him he’d write a Cantina song for the new movie. Well, thanks to that, we now have “Jabba Flow” which Miranda explains is written in Huttese, Jabba the Hutt’s language, and translates to “No lover, lover, it’s not me.”  “It’s literally a Shaggy intergalactic remix!” he says, before the two start singing the song. Who knew J.J. Abrams had that kind of rhythm?

If you liked hearing the two rock out, they also announced that the song is available on iTunes today!
