Here’s Everything Coming to Max in June 2023

As of May 23, 2023, HBO Max is no more. All hail your new streaming overlord: Max. The Guy Fieri and 90 Day Fiancé mega-franchises will now live under the same roof as, like, five different Batmans, The Sopranos, and Che Diaz. And a bunch of other stuff that’s coming to Max in June.

Max’s June 2023 lineup includes two major movie debuts: Magic Mike’s Last Dance on June 2 and Avatar: The Way of Water on June 7. (Actually, The Way of Water works as a subtitle for both movies.) Notably, Max is sharing custody of the Avatar sequel with Disney+, which is also getting James Cameron’s latest on June 7. On the small-screen side of things, Max is debuting new seasons of Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens, And Just Like That… (CHE HIVE, ACTIVATE), and The Righteous Gemstones, along with The Idol—the highly anticipated (and already much-derided) new series from Euphoria‘s Sam Levinson and The Weeknd.

As is customary for every streaming platform, Max is adding a slew of movies on the first of the month, including classics like Dog Day Afternoon and Little Shop of Horrors, and newer faves like I, Tonya and Moonlight.
