It’s been a long time, but the wait is finally over. The hiPhone 5 is available in China! No word if it’s on sale at your friendly, neighborhood fake Apple store, or equally reputable street vendors, but one thing is for sure: It’s definitely the hiPhone 5. CNBC news reports that the hiPhone 5 is available for the low, low price of 200 yuan (about $31) but that the more genuine ones (whatever that means) are closer to 800 yuan. Everybody knows that if you’re buying fake, you want to go for the genuine one.
It’s worth noting that the hiPhone 5 has taken on a bit of an oval shape, which I hope is just the result of a hiPhone creative director getting carried away and in no way related to anything the actual iPhone might look like. According to what I’ve seen the iPhone 5 will be made out of glass, come with a unicorn and be able to travel in time. Whatever, as long as it isn’t oval and as long as it eventually comes out for real.
