In its first episode, Craig Benzine explains how decaf coffee is made despite the difficulty inherent with the caffeine being part of coffee beans. Sadly, he never answers the bigger question of why anyone would ever drink decaf.

Seriously, decaf, you don’t even have the part of coffee that wakes people up.
