Ian McKellen: A Lucky, Lucky Geek

Almost Totally Excellent

I like to imagine that Ian McKellen sticks it to Christopher Lee quite a bit:

“Well, Christopher, I know we all want to be Gandalf, but maybe if you hadn’t made a career out of playing some of cinema’s worst creepy evil men, Peter would have let you do it.”

But he probably doesn’t actually do that. Because he’s man with class. And because Christopher Lee was spec ops in World War II and according to some of the special features on the LotR DVDs, can authoritatively make statements about the sound a man makes when you stab him in the back.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
