Ready Player One has been doing very well financially and can brag about its 80% audience loved it score on Rotton Tomatoes. For me personally, having read the book and thought it was okay, I’m not in a rush to go out and see the movie. That being said, the trailer and promo have been filled with so much fantastic nostalgia, I kind of want to see just how much stuff they pumped into it.

Thank goodness for the internet.

IGN put out this video a few days ago, collecting most of the references that come up throughout the movie, so spoiler alert if you haven’t watched the film yet.

They also put out a video of the biggest changes from book to film, which, from what I’ve read is one of the biggest things that will decide if you like this movie or not.

For those who have gone out there and seen the film, what did you think? How did it differ from your expectations and what were your favorite cameos/references?
