Watch the First Two Trailers for Benedict Cumberbatch as Alan Turing in The Imitation Game

Benedict Cumberbatch’s previous “Look, ma! I’m playing a tech history icon!” movie, WikiLeaks docudrama The Fifth Estate, crashed and burned both critically and commercially, so here’s hoping his Alan Turing biopic The Imitation Game does better. There’s certainly no shortage of talent on display in the trailers (US above, UK below). Mark Strong! Matthew Goode! Keira Knightley! Charles Dance! Rory Kinnear! And the life of World War II codebreaker Alan Turing is certainly biopic material—though it’s unclear to what extent the movie will go into his post-War conviction and sentencing for homosexuality, or even if it will at all.
