Tired of the Steam Trading Card craze yet? No? Well, good news — you can get more of the cards for just watching a movie now! Indie Game: The Movie just got re-released with a special edition on Steam, and the filmmakers are using this opportunity to get in on the newest thing to put PC gamers in a tizzy. Collect ’em all! Show your friends! Now you too can look like a big-shot indie developer!
In addition to the cards, you’ll get some achievements on Steam if you watch all of the new content. That’s right, we officially live in a world where it’s impossible to tell video game from movie. And that’s…kind of fine by us? If you’re looking to have the best Steam card compendium in town, be sure to get your Phil Fish card fast — I’ve heard they’re going to become “incredibly valuable” in the future! You can get a glimpse of the available cards (kinda) below:
And if you somehow still haven’t seen this Sundance Award-winning documentary, there’s never been a better time to give it a watch. But I suggest you watch Mega64’s recut trailer to get you up to speed first:
