Christopher Nolan’s new flick Interstellar may not hit theatres for another year, but the first trailer already has us stoked – and teary-eyed. See if you can make it through this beautiful ode to human ingenuity and space travel without getting a little misty. Go ahead.

Yeah, that’s what we thought. The trailer runs in front of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, and – though it doesn’t give us any details about the actual storyline of the film – looks incredibly promising to fans of serious science fiction. Now, who can we call about re-starting the shuttle program?
