Maybe they thought the question was, “How much could Apple probably charge devotees for an iPhone?”

Meanwhile, at Apple headquarters, they’re really sad to find out they could’ve price gouged us all even more and everyone would’ve just thought it was normal. To be fair, I wouldn’t be able to guess the exact cost of a year’s worth of a phone plan either, but there’s a large window for error between “exact” and “several times too high.”

For the appropriate reaction to the $7,500 guess and the unwitting trap it springs on the next guy, see the two audience members right next to the first contestant. Their faces are priceless.
