I’m a long-time fan of YouTuber Sharla in Japan, a Canadian girl currently going to school in Japan and posting about her experience. Her latest video is a hard-hitting exposé on the latest trend in Japan – cat cafes. An instant death-trap if you have allergies, sure; but otherwise, these cafes are the most adorable thing on the planet.

Sharla checks out Kyariko Cat Cafe, where you can hang with purebreds, and Ekoneko Cat Cafe, which is filled with rescues you can adopt. If you liked this, check out Sharla’s other videos on her channel! I personally love the ones on Japanese vending machinesweird Japanese snacks, Egg Ice Cream, and Love Hotels. Excuse me while I buy every ticket to Japan.
