Jeri Ryan is set to guest star on Arrow this coming season! In the second episode of Season Four called “The Candidate,” she’s playing a character that’s original to the show.

Star Trek: Voyager alum Ryan will be playing a Queen family friend named Jessica Danforth, a woman with political ambitions. With a title like “The Candidate,” and a political family friend, might we see Ollie running for office?

Meanwhile, in additional casting news, Arrow has found its Baron Reiter (aka Baron Blitzkrieg). British actor, Jimmy Akingbola, will be taking on the season-long recurring role via flashbacks as Ollie’s adversary who then offers Ollie a job in his underground organization, Shadowspire.

Arrow is shaping up to be really interesting in Season 4! Now all they need to do is write Felicity better.
