Here’s a video of Jimmy Fallon singing “Hotline Bling” as Bob Dylan on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. That is a real sentence I wrote here, in the year 2016. It feels like television and the internet have reached peak parody, have they not?

The video’s pretty neat because in traditional Fallon fashion, he goes all out to really double down on this parody. The segment is even shot with a blurry “old television” 60s-style filter. It’s like you’re really watching Dylan on The Ed Sullivan Show. If, you know, he didn’t walk out of the show, and if “Hotline Bling” existed in the 60s. It’s just funny to hear Drake’s words coming out of Fallon-Dylan’s mouth.

I definitely learned one thing from this video: “Hotline Bling” needed more harmonica solos.
