@EAStarWars Will fans get a full on offline story mode? It’s more of an enjoyable way to learn controls.

John Boyega’s a Star Wars: Battlefront fan, and as such, he’s got some… opinions about the game. He tweeted to the Star Wars: Battlefront Twitter account asking if the game will ever get a full on story mode. Of course, Boyega being Boyega, he drew a pretty interesting response from fans and EA alike.
@thelastdisciple @EAStarWars ah that’s understandable

Of course, EA’s response seemed a little more… promising.
@JohnBoyega I am sure we can arrange something.

As someone who’s all about the story in video games and stuff, this warms my heart. It’s a long shot but here’s hoping something nice comes out of this visit. But given Battlefront‘s hesitation to tread on canon, it that long shot might be longer than we think. Either way, it’s fun to think about what kind of story might come out of this. If it happens, it won’t be the first non-canon Star Wars video game, after all. Jedi Knight, anybody?
Oh, and folks: Boyega is a treasure. Don’t ever doubt that.
