The park officially opens in less than two months, but in the meantime here are some more images of Chris Pratt and the gang gyroscoping around the island to tide you over. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, director Colin Trevorrow gave some details on Jurassic World’s unconventional mode of transportation:

There’s a ride at the park that allows you to get into a gyroscopic sphere and be out in the wild with dinosaurs and travel beneath them—and that goes horribly wrong. Imagine being inside a sphere and then suddenly it breaks and you’re rolling like a cat with a ball of yarn.

According to EW, the park’s breakdown also transforms Bryce Dallas Howard’s character Claire “into an Ellen Ripley-like heroine”; Howard explains that “becoming a mother myself, I’ve realized being maternal is being wildly badass.”

Speaking of wildly badass, you can also check out a leaked image from the film showing the park’s Mosasaurus (featured briefly in the trailer) about to go to town on a shark. Mosasaurus eats shark. Mosasaurus eats man. Woman still inherits the earth.
