I don’t want to sound like a hater here but it really chaffs my cape that Justin Bieber owns a Batmobile and I don’t. To be fair, I’d hate any 17-year-old who owned their very own bat-themed vehicle so it’s not exactly the pop star’s fault. Well, ok, maybe a little.
Yesterday we showed you the BATT-mobile, today it’s the Bat-illac. MTV Geek has a few images of Bieber’s Batmobile which is really a customized Cadillac CTS-V. “The mastermind behind this geeky custom is none other than Ryan Friedlinghaus, founder of West Coast Customs, who many of you will recognize from the glory days of MTV’s Pimp My Ride and the more recent Inside West Coast Customs, which airs on Discovery’s all-new channel, Velocity,” writes MTV.
Bieber’s Batmobile *shudder*, has a matte finish with bat symbols replacing the Cadillac logos and “Batmobile” written on the trunk. The car also features suicide doors (DeLorean doors would have been much preferred by yours truly). MTV mentioned that the singer was recently pulled over by the cops in his new ride but let off with just a warning. Did he convince them he was off to foil the Joker’s plans?
As jealous as I am of Bieber I have to admit this is a really cool custom job and not too over the top. It’s something I would definitely driver if I were worth $85 million. Should we start calling him Damian now?
