Kacy Catanzaro’s Historic Run On American Ninja Warrior Is At An End

…at least until she comes back next year to kick that jumping spider’s ass good and proper, I assume. Catanzaro caught our attention when she was the first woman ever to make it to the finals without being wild carded in. She also breezed through the Assassin’s Creed Unity obstacle course at SDCC like it wasn’t no thang. Unfortunately, the first stage of the ANW finals proved quite a bit more difficult.

Only one woman has ever successfully gotten past the jumping spider: fellow finalist Meagan Martin, who has four inches on the the five-foot-tall Catanzaro. She didn’t make it through to the second stage, but her run was still really impressive:
