You read that headline right. Kel Mitchell of All That and Kenan & Kel fame is coming back to Nickelodeon with a brand new sitcom called Game Shakers. The show is about two 12 year old girls who team up with rapper Double G (that’s Mitchell) to get their gaming company off the ground.

According to Variety, this is also Mitchell’s reunion with producer Dan Schneider, who previously worked with Mitchell on All ThatKenan & Kel, and Good Burger. The concept of the show sounds like standard Nickelodeon sitcom fare, but the idea of two 12 year old girls starting their own gaming company sounds incredibly intriguing.

As if you needed more hype to latch on to, Dan Schneider also talked about his being open to a reunion between Mitchell and Kenan Thompson. He said:

Almost nothing would excite me more than reuniting Kenan and Kel in a big way. People would go crazy to see them back together making great comedy again. It would be amazing because they’re as strong and talented as any male comedy duo that’s ever been. There’s been talk of various ways to bring Kenan and Kel back together. All I can say is, I can’t imagine anything more fun and exciting. I’m in!
