Lando Just Might Be Able to Grant New Life to Star Wars Battlefront

Oh, and Dengar, too, I guess.

Star Wars Battlefront has seen its share of ups and downs. After a promising start, the game fell into a bit of disarray as players began to grow tired of its fairly repetitive game modes and small map pool. Since then, EA has tried to jump start excitement for the game, and this upcoming Bespin expansion is one of those attempts. The expansion is said to include a few new maps set in Cloud City and in the skies of Bespin, new weapons, game modes, and more importantly, new heroes.

Lando, erstwhile Baron Administrator of Cloud City, joins the fight, along with Dengar the bounty hunter. Come on, you know Dengar. He’s the one who looked like he wrapped his head in toilet paper. Yeah, that guy.

Anyway. Judging by the trailer, it looks like this expansion should be fairly neat. There’s plenty of shooting action going on (what did you expect, it’s an FPS), along with some really neat peeks at what looks like the depths of Cloud City. You’ll be able to shoot up and saber through the same maintenance areas where Luke and Vader fought.

No word yet on whether you’ll be able to dig up Luke’s hand, though. But wouldn’t that be something?
