For the Bentonville Film Festival, actress Geena Davis formed a League of Their Own reunion, reuniting most of the cast of the 90s movie. Those present included Megan Cavanagh (Marla Hooch), Ann Cusack (Shirley Baker), Tracy Reiner (Betty Spaghetti), Anne Ramsey (Helen Haley), Freddie Simpson (Ellen Sue Gotlander), Patti Pelton (Marbleann Wilkenson), and of course, Davis herself. Unfortunately, some of the bigger names like Tom Hanks, Madonna, and Rosie O’Donnell were unavailable. Still, it looked like a super heartwarming reunion.

As you may or may not know, A League of Their Own was a movie based on the real-life women’s baseball team, the Rockford Peaches. Gina Casey, one of the original members of the team, was also present at the reunion (which took place before a baseball game) to throw out the first pitch. As Jimmy Dugan (Tom Hanks) said in the movie, there’s no crying in baseball. However, after looking at this incredibly nostalgic reunion, I still believe otherwise.
