Lego Unveils All New ‘Star Wars Models’ for May the 4th

My wallet is now a force ghost.

We are two weeks away from every geek’s favorite holiday, Star Wars Day. May 4th aka May the Fourth Be With You is upon us, and naturally this means all sorts of Star Wars news, releases, and of course, toy reveals are on the way. Lego has released a preview of all their new Star Wars models, and needless to say we’re excited. Let’s take a look at what is coming up from everyone’s favorite brick company.

Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder™

As seen above, Luke Skywalker’s X-34 Landspeeder will join the Ultimate Collector Series line. The set sports 1,890 pieces, and includes an information plaque and display stand along with Luke and C-3PO minifigures (look at his little silver leg!). The pricey set will retail at $199.99,and offers an intense amount of detail for A New Hope enthusiasts. Look at that exposed turbine engine with all those pipes, wires, and cables. The Landspeeder will be available to LEGO VIP members on May 1 and for everyone else on May 4.

The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter™

Fans of The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett will recognize Mando’s new ship, a refurbished N-1 Starfighter . This 412-piece model features minifigures of Mando with the Darksaber and Peli Motto with a wrench, plus figures of Grogu and a BD Droid. The starfighter features a minifigure cockpit, passenger space for Grogu, a small cargo compartment, a spring-loaded shooter and lots of authentic bashed-up details. This is a quick, family-friendly build and honestly where else will you find a Lego Amy Sedaris? The set is $59.99 and is available for pre-order to ship from June 1.

Everyone loves the iconic trash compactor scene from A New Hope. Now you can recreate to moment with this diorama, which features authentic compactor action (it moves!) and a display plaque that features Han Solo’s quote, “One thing’s for sure. We’re all gonna be a lot thinner!”. The set comes features Han, Luke, Leia, and Chewy and sports 802 pieces. Retailing at $89.99, the diorama is available for pre-order coming soon on April 26.

Dagobah™ Jedi™ Training Diorama

Fans of The Empire Strikes Back will enjoy this diorama of Yoda training Luke Skywalker on Dagobah. The 1,000 set features Yoda’s hut and the wing of Luke Skywalker’s X-wing, and a plaque with Yoda’s classic quote DDo or do not. There is no try.” This swampy motif retails at $79.99 and will be released on April 26.

Death Star™ Trench Run Diorama

Lego’s third new diorama set features a snapshot from the thrilling trench run from A New Hope. The 665 piece set intricately recreates the details of the Death Star and an in-motion X-Wing. A plaque bearing Darth Vader’s infamous quote “The Force is strong with this one” along with TIE fighters in pursuit. The set retails for $59.99 and is available on April 26.

In addition to these new models, Lego is offering three Star Wars-themed gifts with purchases made between May 1 and May 8. Purchases over $40 will include a small AT-ST model, and Lego VIP purchases over $70 will include a Mandalorian Beskar ingot keychain. Those who spend over $160 will get a Lars Family Homestead Kitchen model that includes an Aunt Beru minifigure. Hell yeah Aunt Beru representation!
