Disney hasn’t been shy about building the hype for their new Guardians of the Galaxy ride, which opened this weekend at Disney’s California Adventure Park in Anaheim. And it looks like all the publicity paid off, with lines for the attraction lasting up to five hours and stretching “to the entrance of the park.”

Users on Twitter let everybody know:

The long lines also continued today (Sunday, May 28).

Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout replaced the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ride at the Anaheim park. In the new ride, the lobby of the Haunted Hotel has been transformed into the Collector’s fortress, and visitors report that the waiting area (before the big drop) is full of artifacts for visitors to check out. Once you’re inside, Rocket Raccoon enlists you to help him break the rest of the Guardians out of the Collector’s fortress, and you’re randomly assigned to one of six different breakout scenarios.

Were any of you in these super-long lines? Worth the wait?
