To celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary and the upcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for Wii U, Google Maps has changed their Pegman figure to Link (or is it Pegman cosplaying Link?). The feature will be around for five days, according to the Japanese Twitter.
Google Maps usually has variations of Pegman for different part of the world (usually it’s a penguin Half Moon Island, Antarctica), and previously let users play Pac-Man among other fun Easter eggs.

You can drop him to go into Street View and he’ll turn if you do as well. There’s not much else, but they did create a fictional version of Zelda’s World Map:
This is Link’s trusty map that helped him traverse both Hyrule and Termina in his efforts to thwart evil across the lands and bring the age of peace to fruition.
(In actuality, this is a fictional map that serves to playfully mark the real world up as if it were the maps from both Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Zelda: Majora’s Mask.)
What do you think, is Link going to make Googling directions more fun?
