Rumor Confirmed: A Live-Action The Tick Reboot “Is Being Pursued With Vigor”

We told you over the weekend that Amazon and Sony Television are teaming up to revive the live-action The Tick, which originally lasted for nine episodes in 2001 and 2002. Or, more specifically, that they’re teaming up for the pilot, and if that does well then they’ll truck on with more episodes. Well, this is one rumor that just got a lot less rumor-y; original show creator Ben Edlund at least confirmed in the above Tweet that they’re working on bringing back The Tick, even if Amazon hasn’t necessarily committed.

And yes, Patrick Warburton is reportedly on-board to star as well.
