But now I love it and the people who make it, for proving that we’ve reached a time in which incredibly obscure references to the childhoods of people my age who had cable can be universally applied humor. In case you haven’t noticed, we’ve got a category called Vital Information for Your Everyday Life on The Mary Sue, which I borrowed from when I started that category back in my Geekosystem days.  Obviously we need to use it more often.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
