Jedi, Joker, Trickster, Fire Lord and living legend Mark Hamill will finally be getting his star on the Hollywood walk of fame.
According to CBR, Hamill will become the 2,630th celebrity to receive a star during a ceremony scheduled for March 8. Star Wars creator George Lucas and co-star Harrison Ford will emcee the event with Leron Gubler, president and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
Hamill has only been becoming all the more awesome with age—and as one of the people who is solidly on Team #LastJediLukeWorks, I’m glad to see him being recognized for the versatile talent that he has been for almost fifty years. Not only has he played the most iconic of good guys in Luke Skywalker, but he is also the voice my generation will forever associate with the Joker.
We are of course super happy for Hamill, but we know who is probably the proudest, wherever she is …
