What could be better than multiple Avengers: Infinity War movies? Why, multiple Avengers video games, of course! Marvel Entertainment and Square Enix announced that they’re teaming up for a “multi-year, multi-game” partnership starting with The Avengers project. If you’ll recall, Square Enix is the same company behind Final Fantasy XV, Deux Ex: Mankind Divided, Laura Croft and more. I actually had the chance to demo those games ahead of  New York Comic Con, which you can watch here.

The Avengers project, specifically, will be developed by Crystal Dynamics, best known for their work on the Tomb Raider series, alongside Deus Ex developer Eidos-Montréal. “The Avengers project is being designed for gamers worldwide and will be packed with all the characters, environments, and iconic moments that have thrilled longtime fans of the franchise,” a statement for the game read. “Featuring a completely original story, it will introduce a universe gamers can play in for years to come.”

If you’re looking for more details, sit tight. More announcements aren’t likely to come until 2018.
