Remember Mortal Kombat Legacy, the awesome web series created after that fake (but ridiculously amazing) movie trailer for Mortal Kombat: Rebirth went viral? Well, good news! You’re getting more! The second season is dropping in its entirety of September 26th, and the trailer is veeery exciting.
In this season, Liu Kang and Ermac join the fighters we met last time around — Kenshi, Kung Lao, Kuai Lang, Stryker, Kitana, Mileena, Jax, Johnny Cage, Scorpion and Sub- Zero. Kevin Tancharoen returns as director and co-writer alongside writers Josh Baizer and Marshall Johnson, and the cast includes Harry Shum Jr. (he was in Glee, but we won’t hold that against him), Casper Van Dien, Brian Tee, and Mark Dacascos. It’s even going to have Cary Tagawa from the original Mortal Kombat movies, reprising his role as Shang Tsung. So, in other words, it’s gonna be totally rad.
“There has been so much anticipation around “Mortal Kombat: Legacy II,” Tancharoen said in a recent statement. “I’m excited to deliver this season to fans. There’s more action, fights, special effects, and overall, more of what fans want.”

- Seriously, these are so much better than the movies
- Harry Shum Jr. can dance, so maybe they’ll do something like this?
