I’ve wanted to give Kermit the Frog a hug on countless occasions but perhaps never have I thought he actually needed one so much as right now. Take a look at artist Graham Annable’s perception on where Kermit, Miss Piggy and Gonzo got their start. 

You may have seen the film Kermit’s Swamp Years but this is something entirely different. “Here are the three images I created for The Lovers, the Dreamers, and Me – A Jim Henson Tribute Exhibition at Gallery Nucleus,” Annable writes on his Flickr. “I wanted to take a contemplative look into the possible beginnings of some of our favorite muppets.” The exhibit opens December 10 and runs through January 2 and features a large assortment of artists tributes but Annable’s contributions have struck a cord with us. Say it together now, AWWWW.
