Some sick sadist has decided to help ’90s babies relive the movie scene that, for many of us, may have been the first moment we understood the inherent injustice in life. The MyGirl web game gives players a chance to save little Macaulay Culkin from being stung to death by bees. Life is unfair though and death is forever: the game can’t be beat.

LOOK OUT! THOMAS! NOOOOOOO!

The game begins with the ominous command to “accept your fate”. As bespectacled, adorable, gone-too-soon Thomas J. Senett, players wander around exploring while My Girl (the song, not the tragic film) plays in the background. One by one, the bees start to appear. There is no way to win this game. Death and doom are inevitable. My Girl was actually written by Nietzsche.

Please, please someone make a Home Alone web game so I can shake off these feelings of existential doom. Anyone out there who’s ever ugly-cried like Vada, you know what I mean.
