If you’re going to be feasting with family and friends this Thanksgiving, congrats! But if distance and circumstance have you spending a couple of days off work this week with not much to do, there’s always Netflix— and now’s a great time to catch up on some awesome shows and movies you might otherwise miss!
Gawker has a comprehensive lists of movies that will no longer be available for streaming come December. Some of the big ‘uns include Cry-Baby, Dirty Dancing (sob), Spice World, The Talented Mr. Ripley, An Officer and a Gentleman, Star Trek: Generations, Coffee and Cigarettes, and RoboCop 2. Not all stars, but still; if you’re going to watch RoboCop 2, best to do so relatively for free.
Of course, it’s not all bad news; Netflix has some great geeky additions rolling out over the month of December! Avoid the arctic tundra outside your front door by watching A Knight’s Tale, Knights of Badassdom (A Peter Dinklage movie about LARPing!), Almost Famous, Bewitched (the 2005 Nicole Kidman movie. Sorry), Oculus (starring Karen Gillan!) American Horror Story: Coven, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (Super-Sized Version), Sharknado 2: The Second One, The Village, Broadchurch Season 1, Nick Offerman: American Ham, Netflix original series Marco Polo, Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion and yes: I, Frankenstein.
I know. We were all waiting for I, Frankenstein.
What are you guys planning to stream?
