Good. Now that we’ve got your attention (at least, if you’re attracted to the likes of Michael Fassbender), check out the newly-released Macbeth clip below, as well as some additional photos and featurettes!

I love that this clip gives Marion Cotillard’s Lady Macbeth time to shine. She’s gonna kill it in this part. Interesting, too, is the approach they’re taking to the character in this film. Lady Macbeth isn’t a power-hungry “harpy.” She’s a good person looking to move past a traumatic event in any way she can. Nuanced female character? Sold! Check out this featurette on their approach to Lady Macbeth:

Here are some newly-released production photos, giving us even more of a glimpse into the beautiful costumes and the world in which this Macbeth will live:

Fassbender’s Macbeth seems to grab a lot of people around the head. In any case, for more photos and additional featurettes, check them out over at The Playlist. this looks like it’s going to be a stunning, thought-provoking adaptation. What do you think? Will you be going to see Macbeth once it’s released on December 4th here in the US? Those of you who live in the UK – have you seen it yet? What are your thoughts?
