Marvel and Warner Bros. have been hard at work making movies and shows for us to see, and that means we’ve got a lot of potential casting updates!
David Dastmalchian played the Joker’s thug in The Dark Knight, but this time he’s switching franchises. Marvel is keeping his exact character under wraps for now, but he’s set to play a role in the upcoming Ant-Man.
In terms of the DC universe, the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice had some exciting news already yesterday, releasing the first image of Superman. An now, fresh off of the successful 12 Years a Slave, Scoot McNairy has signed on to the new film. His exact role has yet to be confirmed by Warner Bros., though.
And finally, one more nugget of Warner Bros. casting news. Recently, showrunners of Arrow announced that Devon Aoki is set to play Katana in the upcoming season. Yesterday, they also revealed that Karl Yune of Real Steel will be playing Katana’s husband, Maseo Yamashiro.
Hopefully we’ll get more specific details for McNairy and Dastmalchian soon, but for now this will have to do.
