Seems like the summer’s over for Noelle Stevenson; she’s turning over the series to Kat Leyh of Supercakes, with Shannon Watters continuing writing duties. According to Stevenson, she’ll still hang around camp like so many precious memories in a consulting role. Hmm… Kelly Sue DeConnick also left a comic series this week, so… ohmigosh. Can you imagine those two working on a book together? WHAT.

This latest arc, which concludes with Lumberjanes #16-17, is Stevenson’s last, and is close to her heart.

Ugh. It sucks saying bye to a cabin mate, but we’ll always have our rad friendship bracelets and mixtapes to keep us company. Keep in touch, see you next summer, too good to be forgotten, great big hug, all the yearbook acronyms forever and ever.

We’ll see you at the movies!
