Fans of Lumberjanes‘ Noelle Stevenson, her awesome graphic novel Nimona, or just badass, female-led fantasy stories in general got some great news from Stevenson today! Nimona will be released as an audiobook!

Nimona has already had some pretty sweet success. After all, it’s getting an animated film adaptation thanks to FOX Animation, and it’s won a bunch of awards like an Eisner, and a National Book Award, among others. Now, there’s another way to connect with the story which, as described by Comics Alliance, tells “the compelling story of a shape-shifting delinquent named Nimona who joins up with the supervillain Balister Blackheart in his quest to bring down the corrupt government of their sci-fi fantasy kingdom.”

The audiobook, which is available for pre-order on Audible, will star Rebecca Soler, Jonathan Davis, Marc Thompson, January LaVoy, Natalie Gold, Peter Bradbury, and David Pittu, and will run for 2 hours and 17 minutes. Audible calls it an “unabridged audiobook,” which is interesting when you’re talking about a graphic novel that relies so much on visuals.

Still, Stevenson’s work deserves to be enjoyed on all platforms! Will you be checking this out?
