Chris Jessen, a farmer who raises miniature cattle and also happens to own a mini-kangaroo, became the proud owner of the pictured panda calf, named Ben, when Ben’s mother, a Lowline Angus cow, gave birth. Ben, which has a white stripe along his midsection and black circles around his eyes similar to a panda, is thought to be one of only twenty-four panda cows in the world, along with his father.
The miniature panda cow is reportedly a result of genetic manipulation, and according to Jessen, panda calves can be sold for around $30,000.
