Showtime Renews Penny Dreadful for Third Season

We know, we know. If you didn’t already love Showtime’s Penny Dreadful, you were likely wooed by Sam Maggs’ on-point recaps. Either way, you have reason to be excited. Penny Dreadful was just renewed for a third season!

The show has been given a nine-episode order that will air in 2016 despite some falling ratings numbers at the start of Season 2. So when the show ends its season on July 5th, know that it’s not the end. There’s more Victorian Gothic horror to come!
