Just in time to hype up Resident Evil 6, Capcom has opened the Biohazard Cafe and Grill in Tokyo, a restaurant that aims to evoke Raccoon City and the universe of Resident Evil. Hit the jump for some photos of RE-inspired foods, beverages, and a one-to-one scale Tyrant! Let’s just hope you don’t have to defend the president’s daughter from masses of swarming zombies and Las Plagas-infected cultists while you try to dig into your steak.
Here’s the giant Tyrant which was crafted by the special effects studio behind the tokusatsu costumes for Toei’s superheroes…
Here’s a meal which looks like it’s resting upon a placemat that is an issue of the Raccoon Daily News. It also looks like the food comes in a little metal bento box, the perfect lunch pail for when you’re on the go shooting up zombies…
Test tube condiments!!!
How many T-virus and G-virus cocktails does it take to turn you into a stumbling zombie of a drunk?
Why yes, that is the infamous typewriter from Resident Evil 4. Breathe a sigh of relief, you’re safe…for now.
So, is anyone interested in pooling some cash together for a few tickets to Tokyo? The restaurant will only be open for one year (a term in the food industry referred to as a “pop-up restaurant”), so if you’re keen on gnawing on hunks of meat with other RE fans, I suggest you plan your trip soon!
