With Star Wars canon being streamlined and solidified—for better or worse—Lucasfilm has been mapping it all out in supplemental materials, such as the “official visual story guide” to the upcoming standalone project Rogue One. The new book will be available in January 2017, a month after the movie debuts, but a look inside sheds new light on the film.

Sample pages have been revealed on this product page, bringing a rundown of character names and descriptions. There’s more info in the actual description paragraphs themselves, but it’s a bit tough to read, so here’s a brief rundown (potential mild spoilers follow):

Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) – Highly skilled soldier
Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) – Rebel officer
Baze (Jiang Wen) – Freelance assassin
K-250 (probably Alan Tudyk) – An “enforcer droid”
Bodhi (Riz Ahmed) – Rebel soldier
Pao (?) – “A fierce warrior”
Chirrut (Donnie Yen) – “A spiritual warrior”
Bistan (?) – “A fierce warrior”
Director Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) – “Director of the Imperial military”

There’s also a more in-depth look at Tudyk’s “enforcer droid,” which I guess is kind of like a Terminator, but more like the T2 Terminator, because the guide mentions that he flips sides to join the rebels. Also, he’s a bit adorable to be a Terminator, but maybe he’s scarier in action? Or maybe the Imperial enforcer droids just aren’t very good at what they do, which wouldn’t be massively surprising considering the effectiveness of most of the Empire’s troops.

You can pre-order the guide from Amazon and head over to see more of the info and diagrams of Imperial tech for yourself. Be careful, though. Many Bothans died to bring you this information.
