Today at San Diego Comic-Con, Ron Pearlman chummed the waters again as he addressed a tweet he sent out in June about a possible Hellboy III.

According to Deadline, he said, “If there’s a real honesty to fan culture relationships, we owe the world the finale of Hellboy. We set up the whole film. It’s a deal we made (with fans). I don’t want to do Hellboy IV or V. I want to finish the f*cking trilogy!”

When Pearlman was asked what he believes would be a fitting end to the trilogy, he said he believes that it would involve Hellboy becoming something completely different in order to overcome a greater enemy. He would have to become a darker character to do what he needs to do.

What do you think? Are you clamoring for a Hellboy III?
