.@Marvel we need more #BlackWidow merchandise for my daughters and nieces. Pretty please.

It’s no secret that Marvel has excluded Black Widow from almost all of their Avengers: Age of Ultron merch. But while they might be inclined to ignore the product-buying public (for reasons unknown), they certainly can’t ignore the attention drawn to it by one of their own. Hulk smash the patriarchy!
Ruffalo has also been RTing lots of supportive comments from fans, as well:
@MarkRuffalo @Marvel or just for everyone in general. The appeal of Black Widow isn’t limited to girls.

@MarkRuffalo @Marvel also, ANY merchandise with Scarlet Witch on it would be GREEEAAAAATTTT

@MarkRuffalo @Marvel And for us big kids, too.

@andrewjrose @MarkRuffalo @Hasbro @Marvel I’m with you mark. I have 2 girls who love Avengers. don’t want them thinking they are only boys!

@andrewjrose @MarkRuffalo @Hasbro @Marvel don’t forget the sons and nephews. Female heroes should be their favorites too.

Here’s hoping the massive outcry will force Marvel, Disney, and Hasbro to re-think their priorities when it comes to ladies on their merch.
