During an interview with Collider in anticipation of Jurassic World‘s video release, star Bryce Dallas Howard was asked for the umpteenth time about her decision to have her character, Claire, wear heels throughout the film.

Claire’s impractical footwear never bothered me, if only because, as Howard explains in the video above, she was dressed for a day at the office, not a day of battling dinos–it wouldn’t make sense for her to be as prepared to fight as, say, Rebecca Ferguson’s character in Rogue Nation. I don’t think Jurassic World treated women very well, but the shoes seem more like a distraction from the movie’s actual sexism than a symptom of it.

But that’s just me. I’m up for no heels in Jurassic World 2. I would also be up for ALL Heels. Your move, Universal.
