William Shatner decided to take to Twitter to re-ignite decades of intergalactic rivalry, throwing some serious star-shade at Star Wars. In response to Adam Horowitz’s tweet about a Star Wars commercial airing during his show, Shatner posted a photo of himself all but eye-rolling.

It escalated from there, as Shatner started laying it all down.

Folks tried to play peacemakers, saying there’s nothing wrong with liking either (or both!), but the Shat was having none of that.

Plenty of folks took to announcing their displeasure with the former Captain James Tiberius Kirk. But one reaction in particular to the last tweet kind of really nails it.

Absolutely nobody can argue with that.
