As part of their “Art of Level 7” promotion, Entertainment Weekly and Marvel are releasing a new a new SHIELD poster by a prominent artist for purchase at the Marvel shop every week for the next three months. Last week, we got a glimpse of Raina, and this week, we are blessed to gaze upon the visage of Lady Sif!

This week’s poster is by Marcos Martín, an Eisner-winning artist who worked on Batgirl: Year One and Doctor Strange: The Oath. With Brian K. Vaughan, he also co-created the online, DRM-free comic The Private Eye.

Sif is back in tomorrow’s episode of SHIELD, and executive producer Jeff Bell says that this “tough but attractive” poster “captures the essence of Jamie [Alexander] nicely.” Call me the next time someone describes Chris Hemsworth as “tough but attractive,” okay?

Here’s hoping that, even with her memory wiped, this Sif appearance will impress us more than the last time she showed up on SHIELD, because that was just kind of the worst.
