Silent Hills is going to get you in your nightmares. It lives under your bed and in your closet. It is a horrifying monster. It is quintessentially Silent Hill, and that sounds just perfect to us.

Yes, this is the upcoming Hideo Kojima/Guillermo del Toro developed, Walking Dead‘s Norman Reedus-starring Silent Hills game, and it looks appropriately like a playable nightmare.

Here, you probably need something a little more upbeat and less gross after that, so check out the trailer for Final Fantasy XV, which looks nothing short of amazing. (Though it’s hard to tell how it plays, but it sure does look nice, which is no surprise.)

So the girl is named Luna and the trailer ends with some moon imagery? I’m going to take a wild guess that’s not a coincidence. Here’s hoping that the person who seems to be the game’s main female character isn’t sitting around waiting for her spiky-haired boyfriend to show up for a date the entire game. I don’t see anyone but dudes in the trailer’s fight scenes, and I’m sure they could find a way to put a woman on your team without Aeris-ing her if they tried. (Still not over it.)
