Next season of Vikings is shaping up to be pretty intense. Like, “it looks like somebody gets crucified by a bunch of French people” intense. That’s never good. BUT we do have this nifty trailer, as well as some awesome pictures from the Vikings Comic-Con panel yesterday!

A&E also sent over a description of the new cast members who’ll appear next season in 2015:

Joining the cast for season three are Lothaire Bluteau (The Tudors) as Emperor Charles of France, a powerful man who views battling the Vikings as spiritual and earthly; Kevin Durand (The Strain) as The Wanderer, a mysterious man who is not what he seems; and Morgane Polanski (The Ghost) as Princess Gisla, the elegant, self-possessed daughter of Emperor Charles and his most trusted advisor and Ben Robson (Dracula: The Dark Prince) as Kalf, Lagertha’s trusted second in command.

Odds are they probably won’t blow their noses at the vikings and fart in Ragnar’s general direction, but a girl can dream.

Speaking of Ragnar, check out the gallery below for pictures of Travis Fimmel, Katheryn Winnikc (Lagertha), Alexander Ludwig (new all-grown-up Bjorn), and Clive Standen (Rollo), along with show producer Michael Hirst and Vice President of Scripted & Non-Fiction Development & Programming for History Julian Hobbs:
