The “Sneezing Baby Panda” viral video is being made into a feature-length movie. Please feel free to read that over again, sit down, or pour yourself a stiff drink while that fact settles into your consciousness. Better? Okay. The 45th most popular video on YouTube, currently sporting 106,852,787 views, will soon become the basis for  a mockumentary entitled The Life and Times of Sneezing Baby Panda.

From The Hollywood Reporter:

The $1.3 million co-production, set to start shooting in China in October with Zhejiang Roc Pictures of Hangzhou, will follow an Australian zoologist whose zoo faces financial difficulties she thinks she might solve if she travels to China to save the black and white fuzzy sneezer whose (real life) video clip still gets more than 150,000 hits per day.

There is as of yet no word on whether a Rick Astley biopic or the Leave Britney Alone Guy romcom will be joining the filmic fray. In the meantime, please refresh your memory of the sneezing baby panda by reading on below.
