The day has come, fellow nerds. It is my last day at The Mary Sue. I want to thank all our readers for making this a great two years (and one month-ish) for me, filled with puns and funs and mentally stimulating discussion about all manner of geeky topics. I’ll still write twice-weekly posts at Pajiba, and you can also catch me at my new gig, as the Assistant Editor of Film Journal International. I plan to dust off my personal site and finish up my Avatar: The Last Airbender newbie recaps there, because I need to find out when Zuko is going to pull his head out of his ass. And, of course, you can follow me on Twitter.
It’s been real, Captain & Tennille. There’s a wonderful music video I’ve wanted to post for a while, but I never got around to it. So on this, my last day, here it is. Let this be my legacy:
May you think of me every time you watch a really bad goth music video that was clearly shot in one of the band members’ parents’ backyards.
