A bunch of actors have just flown out to Atlanta to screen-test with Marvel in their search for a brand new Spider-Man. Captain America: Civil War–where Spidey is supposed to make his first appearance–is currently shooting in Atlanta, so time is of the essence, here.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the actors on the short list are: Asa Butterfield (Ender’s GameHugo), Tom Holland (The Impossible), Judah Lewis (Demolition), Matthew Lintz (Pixels), Charlie Plummer (Boardwalk Empire), and Charlie Rowe (Red Band Society). Rumors swirled around the Internet not too long ago saying that Asa Butterfield was in final talks to play Peter Parker, but those were quickly shot down.

Not exactly the most diverse pool of talent, sadly. Was it really too much to hope for to have Spider-Man played by a person of color? Guess so. Still, expect an announcement real soon.
